With a new album on the way this month and a major national Australian tour with Russell Morris Aussie songwriting statesman Brian Cadd is upping the ante on Twitter.

Brian is set to bring you into his life with an all-new Twitter account at https://twitter.com/realbriancadd

The timing of the new Cadd Twitter is perfect with the release of the upcoming album ‘Silver City’. Brian now lives in Woodstock, New York and recorded the new album in Woodstock and Nashville. The title track is a new Americana version of his 70s rocker ‘Silver City Birthday Celebration Day’ from his 1972 solo debut.

Brian was already three successful careers in when he released ‘Brian Cadd’ in 1972. His first Top 10 hit was ‘Woman You’re Breaking Me’ with The Groop in 1967.

His next band Axiom had another three Top 10 hits and this one ‘A Little Ray of Sunshine’ became timeless.

Between Axiom and the solo album, ‘Show Me The Way’ was another hit.

The while the solo albums started coming, so did the Bootleg Family and more Top 10 hits.

We aren’t even getting to the songs he wrote for others like ‘Don’t You Know Its Magic’ for John Farnham.

Russell Morris and Brian Cadd will tour together starting January 24 in Ballina.

James Taylor Farewells Australia With Final Tour (Melbourne Review)

I could go to a James Taylor show just for the stories. The man is a part of music history and is still around to tell the tales of how it all began. Like, for instance, being the first artist signed to Apple Records. James “auditioned” for Apple with his song ‘Something In The Way She Moves’. "Paul went away and started the label and George went away and wrote the song”, he said.
