Australasian Worldwide Music Expo Announces Scholarship Program

The Australasian Worldwide Music Expo (AWME) has announced the 2012 national scholarship program for artists, artist managers and arts workers to attend the 5th music expo in Melbourne in November.

AWME is a our-day conference bringing together musicians, industry reps and festival audiences from around the world for the music industry festival, conference and trade event.

Delegates from The Glastonbury Festival (UK), The Great Escape (UK), Fuji Rock (Japan), WOMAD (UK), Bacana Booking Agency (France), The Agency Group (USA and Reggae Sun Ska (France) will attend AWME 2012.

Applications for expressions of interest to cover delegate registration fees are now open. Arts Victoria is offering Victorian applicants to possibility to also be eligible for travel and accommodation while applicants outside Victoria will be responsible for their own travel, accommodation and meals.

Application forms are available on the AWME website: www.awme.com.au. Applications must be received by 12pm Thursday 20th September 2012. Late applications will not be accepted.
