Band of Skulls will headline the 2000trees Festival this July and The Bronx will headline The Cave stage.

They are among more than 30 bands announced today, including Kids In Glass Houses, DZ Deathrays, Maybeshewill, The Computers, Turbowolf, Baby Godzilla, Decade and Nordic Giants.

Also set to play at Upcote Farm this July are Verses, Heart in Hand, LostAlone, Palm Reader, The Cadbury Sisters, Dolomite Minor, Boy Jumps Ship, Brawlers, Oliver Wilde, The Dead Formats, The JB Conspiracy, God Damn, Andy Oliveri, Kill Chaos, Youth Man, Crazy Arm (Acoustic), The Bronze Medal, Joe Summers, Kitten & Bear, Sam Green & the Midnight Heist, Harry George Johns, Boat to Row and Lonely Tourist.

Band of Skulls are a UK three-piece who could be heading for big breakthrough success with the release of their third album Himalayan on March 31, which frontman Russell Marsden has described as ‘a coming of age record’.

He said: ‘We are thrilled to be headlining 2000trees, we’ve heard it is an awesome festival for people who really love music, so we cannot wait to get there. It’s an exciting year for us and this will be a real highlight.’

5,000 music fans will get the chance to discover the very best new and underground bands on six stages, plus comedy, DJs, quality food and drink and much more, in a picturesque Cotswolds setting.

2000trees Festival scooped the Grass Roots Award at the UK Festival Awards last year. The three-day event takes place at Upcote Farm, near Cheltenham on July 10-12.
