Brian Cadd and Russell Morris deliver a setlist of classics For Melbourne

When two Australian music legends Brian Cadd and Russell took the one stage for the “hometown” gig they delivered over a dozen classics spanning more than 50 years.

It is incredible that these two icons who became household names in Australia in the 1960s are still creating new and relevant music. Brian showcased two songs from his new ‘Silver City’ album while Russell previewed two from ‘Black and Blue Heart’, due in April. The septuagenarians new music slides easily with the past.

Brian gave us ‘Slow Walk’ and ‘Just Because She Can’, demonstrating his newfound lifestyle from the his current ground zero, Woodstock, USA.

Russell’s ‘Ain’t No Angel’ and ‘Sitting Pretty’ is a return to rock. He recently downed tools on his upcoming album, produced by Nick DiDia and Powerfinger’s Bernard Fanning.

One Electric Day at Werribee Mansion on Sunday 27 November 2016 with Russell Morris, Icehouse, James Reyne, Jimmy Barnes. This show is an even balance of Cadd Morris Cadd Morris Cadd Morris so you also get diversity between songs. Some of these hits resonate with every single person in the room. The audience could have sung ‘The Real Thing’ and ‘Ginger Man’, actually they did. When they flip from 60s to 70s and into the new stuff and back again, the show is a real DeLoreon of sound.
