Colin Hay will return to live performance duty in Australia in April around his Bluesfest appearance.

Hay played up at home in February with a show that was equal parts music and comedy. Colin’s comedy side comes from real life stories of his career and life.

In the shows this year Colin went deep into the Men At Work catalogue playing rarely heard live performances of ‘Catch A Star’, ‘Down By The Sea’, ‘No Sign of Yesterday’ and ‘Cargo’ as well as a smattering of solo songs.

Colin will be bringing his Los Angeles based band, including, from Cuba, SanMiguel Perez (guitar/tres/vocals), Yosmel Montejo (bass/vocals) and Jimmy Branly (drums). Rounding out the front line of the band, is Peru’s own Cecilia Noël (percussion/vocals) and Scheila Gonzalez (keyboard/flute/sax/vocals) whose family hails from Guatemala.

Guests on the tour include Vika & Linda in Melbourne with Colin’s wife Cecilia Noël opening in Thirroul, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Canberra.
