Conrad Murray has warned prosecutors to expect a ‘seismic shock’ if he’s called to testify in Michael Jackson’s wrongful death suit.

The late singer’s incarcerated former physician appears concerned he will be subpoenaed in the case filed by Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine against concert promoters AEG Live.

The family is suing the firm for what they allege was negligence in hiring Murray to oversee Michael’s health while he prepared for his final series of concerts.

The practitioner was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Michael’s 2009 death and has been serving a four-year sentence in Los Angeles County Jail since November 2011.

In a voicemail obtained by TMZ, Murray rants about the prospect of being subpoenaed.

“If I am compelled to speak [in court] I can cause one party or the other to experience the impact of an immediate seismic shock [resulting in] a total and complete debacle for one side versus the other,’ he proclaims.

Murray advises what he will say would be of ‘Leviathan proportions’, warning it’s ‘best to leave me alone’.

‘I pray they will take heed and not involve me in this matter,’ he continues.

According to the website, Murray left the message on a friend’s answering machine. The identity of the individual receiving his call remains unknown.

The warnings were in vain as Murray was called on to testify in Katherine Jackson’s $40 billion lawsuit against AEG in February.

According to Entertainment Tonight Murray will also be forced to testify during the upcoming trial. Also on the plaintiff’s witness list obtained by the outlet are the King of Pop’s three children, several of his siblings, choreographer Kenneth Ortega, Quincy Jones, Diana Ross, Spike Lee and the star’s ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley.

The lawsuit accuses AEG Live of helping to cause Michael’s death by ‘pressuring him to prepare for his 2009 comeback concerts, despite his fragile health’.

The suit also says that AEG Live executives ‘hired and supervised Dr. Murray’, who has since been stripped of his medical licence. Â

TMZ reports Murray has pleaded the fifth on the grounds of not wanting to incriminate himself as he’s currently working to overturn his conviction.

Michael died from acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication after suffering from cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home under Murray’s supervision. The singer was 50-years-old.

AEG deny any wrongdoing.
