Courtney Barnett, Sheppard Win At Independent Music Awards

Courtney Barnett will be the artist to watch in coming months after winning the Best Independent Artist award at the Independent Music Awards in Melbourne on Wednesday night.

Sheppard, the success story of 2014, picked up their first award ever on the night for Breakthrough Independent Artist. The band were at the event and performed their hit song ‘Geronimo’, the biggest selling Australian song of 2014 so far.
