DMA’S have confirmed the support acts for their Australian Tour 2026, with Los Angeles band Automatic, Melbourne’s Floodlights and Sleepazoid joining the East Coast run that will also celebrate the 10th anniversary of the band’s debut album, Hills End.

DMA’S have revealed the line-up of special guests for their Australian Tour 2026, with Automatic, Floodlights and Sleepazoid joining the band for three East Coast headline shows in November and December. The concerts will coincide with the release cycle for DMA’S forthcoming self titled fifth studio album and will feature two full sets from the group each night, including a performance marking the 10th anniversary of their debut album, ‘Hills End’.
The newly announced support acts add different elements to each stop of the tour. Los Angeles trio Automatic will open the Brisbane and Sydney performances, while Melbourne audiences will see local acts Floodlights and Sleepazoid share the bill at the Royal Botanic Gardens.
The tour begins at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on 27 November, continues the following night at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne as part of the Live at the Gardens series, and concludes with a hometown performance on the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on 3 December.
The concerts will also introduce Australian audiences to material from DMA’S forthcoming self titled album, due for release on 21 August through Wonderlick Recording Company, Sony Music Australia and RCA UK. The record was written and recorded between the band’s studio in Glebe, Sydney and sessions in Los Angeles.
The album has largely been co-produced by the band alongside Grammy Award nominated producer Lach Bostock, with additional contributions from Jimi Somewhere and Styalz Fuego. DMA’S have also released another preview of the album with the new track Windows, available from today.
The 2026 concerts have been designed as more than a standard album tour. Each show will feature two headline sets, allowing the band to perform music spanning their career while also revisiting Hills End in full to commemorate the album’s 10 year anniversary.
Released in 2016, Hills End established DMA’S as one of Australia’s leading contemporary rock bands, producing songs that helped build a strong domestic following before the group expanded internationally. The anniversary performances acknowledge the significance of the record while placing it alongside material from the band’s latest chapter.
Since then, DMA’S have released For Now (2018), The Glow (2020) and How Many Dreams? (2023), with all four studio albums reaching the upper end of the ARIA Albums Chart. Their profile has also continued to grow internationally, with The Glow and How Many Dreams? reaching No. 4 and No. 3 respectively on the UK Albums Chart.
Beyond album sales, the trio has accumulated more than 500 million catalogue streams, earned four multi platinum singles and received multiple ARIA Award nominations. In 2023 the band won the ARIA Award for Best Group. Their catalogue has also become a consistent presence in triple j’s Hottest 100, contributing 13 entries, highlighted by their Like A Version recording of Cher’s Believe, which was voted the No. 1 Like A Version performance of all time in 2023.
The choice of support artists reflects the diversity of the current Australian and international alternative music scene. Automatic recently released its third album Is It Now?, continuing the minimalist post punk influenced sound established across earlier releases Signal and Excess.
Melbourne’s Floodlights have built a growing reputation through extensive touring and a series of acclaimed releases that draw on Australian rock traditions while incorporating contemporary influences. Fellow Melbourne act Sleepazoid released the EP New Age earlier this year, blending elements of grunge, shoegaze and post punk.
For DMA’S, the Australian Tour 2026 bridges two milestones. It follows the release of the band’s fifth studio album while also revisiting the record that first introduced the trio to a national audience a decade ago. With two full headline sets scheduled each night, the concerts are intended to showcase both the band’s current direction and the catalogue that has defined its first ten years.
