Fleetwood Mac will tour for Live Nation, the company also behind Pink’s record breaking upcoming Australian tour and the recent Black Sabbath tour.

Seven Australian dates have been announced so far but singer Stevie Nicks has been quoted as saying Fleetwood Mac will be performing 15 shows in Australia. The tour has already created a controversy in New Zealand after Fleetwood Mac switched promoters from Andrew McManus to Live Nation after McManus had also put down a non-refundable deposit for a venue in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Fleetwood Mac Australian dates for Live Nation are:

Sydney Entertainment Centre – Sunday November 10
Hunter Valley, Hope Estate Winery – Saturday November 16
Adelaide, Entertainment Centre – Tuesday November 19
Perth, Perth Arena – Friday November 22
Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena – Tuesday November 26
Geelong,
The Hill Winery – Saturday November 30
Brisbane, Entertainment Centre – Monday December 2

Fleetwood Mac will also perform in Auckland, New Zealand on December 6.

Tickets on sale 9am Thursday June 13.

The Damned released the first ever UK punk single, “New Rose” off album Damned, Damned, Damned, in 1976, and were often overshadowed by their English punk counterparts. Now in their late sixties and still touring world-wide, featuring the original line up of Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies and Paul Gray, they are the ones having the last laugh and have left their old rivals for dead, in certain respects, quite literally!
