Grace Jones Plays London #SETLIST

Grace Jones provided a jaw dropping set at BST Hyde Park on the weekend.

Wearing a series of bizarre, breast bearing and sometimes beautiful outfits consisting of not much more than body paint and head gear, she commanded the stage with free abandon, giving herself totally to the moment.

“My nipples are sweaty, the paint is coming off”, she said. “Has anyone got a spliff for me?”. As extrovert as ever Grace Jones was enthralling entertainment, eyes glued to her every cavorting move.

Her set included the covers Nightclubbing (Iggy Pop), Love Is the Drug (Roxy Music) and Private Life (Pretenders), all of which she had recorded on previous albums. From her own repertoire she played classics Pull Up to the Bumper and Slave to the Rhythm.

Kylie Minogue topped off a great day of music which saw Chic feat. Nile Rodgers, Foxes and Years & Years all perform at another fun filled Hyde Park musical soiree.

This week will host an array of comedians before The Who and Taylor Swift take to the stage.
