‘My Hero’, the classical album from Sir Donald Bradman’s granddaughter Greta Bradman, is the number one classical album in Australia for a second week and has now been released in the USA.

Greta Bradman is the first signing to Decca Classics by Robert Rigby. Rigby is also the founder of the Ambition Music Group, the label behind recent releases for Marcia Hines, Paulini and Leo Sayer.

Greta Bradman’s ‘My Hero’ became the fastest selling and highest debuting classic album in the ARIA Chart last week and continues its moments at number 1 for ARIA’s Core Classical Album Chart, number 1 on the ARIA Classical/Crossover Albums Chart, number 9 on the ARIA Australian Album Chart and at number 24 on the ARIA Albums Chart.

Greta has been awarded critics choice awards including an APRA/AMCOS “Performance of the Year” award (2013) and numerous OzCart awards. She has been nominated for Helpmann, MusicOz and ARIA awards and was Limelight Magazine’s vocalist shortlisted as “best newcomer” in 2010. Greta was the 2013-14 recipient of the Australian International Opera Award.

With the new Decca Classics deal in place, Greta is up for taking ‘My Hero’ on a global journey. Contemporary classical artists gracing the US classic chart include Lindsay Stirling, The Tenors and 2Cellos.
