Homeless Guy Sues Eminem For $9m

A homeless New Yorker has filed a lawsuit against Eminem for nine million bucks after claiming the rapper stole his idea for the Born of Fire Chrysler commercial that appeared at the Superbowl last year.

According to Allhiphop.com, Stephen Lee Pieck of Westchester, New York filed the lawsuit on January 12 in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. His claim was hand written and his address was listed as “homeless”.

The general gist of Pieck’s claim is that he was having dinner with Christina Aguilera and her then-husband Jordon Bratman at a Legal Sea Foods restaurant when Aguilera called Eminem and handed Pieck the phone where he proceeded to give Eminem the Born of Fire idea.

“I want the court to reward me a judgement in the amount of $9 million,” Allhiphop.com quotes Pieck’s lawsuit as saying. “I designed every aspect of the commercial and the commercial was stolen from me. In addition, I did not receive compensation in monetary terms for the work I did.”

The commercial aired in the 2011 Superbowl and showed Eminem driving a Chrysler through Detroit. It sure makes me want to fist-bump every citizen of Detroit, but it doesn’t really make me want to drive a Chrysler.
