Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver had a rare find while excavating a new restaurant site– master recordings from Joy Division and New Order.

Holy Moly reports that the master tapes weren’t the only thing Oliver discovered when excavating the site for his new restaurant in a former branch of a Midlands bank.

Alongside the original tapes were jewels, gold, and a collection of guns, all valued at £1.1 million.

He’s reportedly turned over the gold, guns, and tunes to the treasury, so we can hopefully look forward to a very blingy re-release of Joy Division and New Order tunes.

New Order are about to visit Australia in March for the Future Music festival, as well as a couple of sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney.
