Jane Henson, co-founder of The Muppets with her former husband Jim Henson, has died at the age of 78. Jane died at her home in Connecticut after fighting cancer. Born in Queens, New York in 1934, Jane became a puppeteer and puppet designer. She created Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. She met Jim Henson
