The annual Stagecoach Festival, the west coast’s biggest country music gathering, will be held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA from April 26 to 28 and the lineup is an impressive combination of current country stars and numerous veterans of the genre.

Headliners for the weekend are Toby Keith (Friday), Lady Antebellum (Saturday) and the Zac Brown Band (Sunday), but a number of veterans appear in the runner-up spots on the new festival poster including Hank Williams, Jr., Roger McGuinn, Dwight Yoakam, John Anderson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Charley Pride and Don Williams. Further down in the lineups are still more veterans including Kenny Loggins and Gary Burr (of Pure Prairie League) as part of the the group Blue Sky Riders, Connie Smith, Marty Stewart, Commander Cody, Suzy Bogguss, Tanya Tucker and the Riders in the Sky.

It is quite impressive to see so many veterans on the bill as, for the last few years, veteran artists have not fared well on country radio and the charts with the exception of occasional hits from George Strait and Reba McEntire.
