John Mayer will officially become a talk show host in February, but just for three nights.

Mayer will host The Late Late Show for three nights leading up to the Grammy Awards.

CBS has announced new host James Corden will front the show from March 9, 2015 and current host Craig Ferguson will leave in December. In the interim, a host of guest hosts will host the show including Mayer.

Drew Carey has been tapped to front the show from January 5 to 9 and again from March 2 to 6. Judd Apatow, Will Arnett, Wayne Brady, Jim Gaffigan, Billy Gardell, Sean Hayes, Thomas Lennon and Kunal Nayyar will also take a stab at the Late Late Show before Corden arrives.
