Bieber leads a weird mix of artists with new albums: Metric, Maximo Park, Muscles, Motion City Soundtrack and more.

Justin Bieber finally releases his second proper album, Believe, today. Let’s see if it can match his arch nemeses One Direction’s success.

Brit-rockers Maximo Park have their fourth album The National Health and snappy Canadian indie-rockers Metric release their fifth Synthetica.

Following up his top 20 debut album Guns Babes Lemonade, electro-pop sprite Muscles displays his Manhood.

Glen Hansard of Irish act The Frames and the Oscar-winning Once film (and now musical) releases his first solo album Rhythm And Repose. And the third album from perky Scottish singer-songwriter Amy McDonald, Life In A Beautiful Light, comes out today.

Industrial-metal giants Fear Factory return with the critically praised Industrialist album and there’s a new disc from roustabout punks The Bouncing Souls, titled Comet and power pop outfit Motion City Soundtrack offer Go.

Acclaimed Idaho singer-songwriter (and novelist) Josh Ritter releases So Runs The World Away and singer-songwriter Swede The Tallest Man on Earth has his new album  There’s No Leaving Now.

Classical piano master Lang Lang gives a CD/DVD pack titled Liszt Now and there’s the cross-genre string mix fronted by Yo-Yo Ma on The Goat Rodeo Sessions DVD and rootsy country trio Eden’s Edge release their self-titled debut.

Experimental US electro-psych husband and wife team Peaking Lights have their acclaimed new effort Lucifer and quirky Mississippi dude Dent May throws out the ukulele on his new effort Do Things.

There’s a boxset of Lost Tapes from Krautrock pioneers Can and a new Tea Party collection titled Tangents.

And finally, today sees the release of 25th anniversary edition of Paul Simon’s Graceland and AC/DC’s Let There Be Rock DVD featuring the final live performance by  Bon Scott in 1979.
