Kirin J Callinan Officially Charged After Flashing His Dick At ARIAs

Australian musician Kirin J Callinan will face court for flashing his penis at the ARIA Awards last November.

Callinan, the son of The Radiators co-founder Brendan Callinan, was officially charged on Monday after the incident. Following his lewd public act he was dropped for the line-up for The Laneway Festival after Brisbane rapper Miss Blanks solicited his withdrawal.

Callinan is expected to face court in Sydney in March.

Brendan Callinan was a founding member of The Radiators but left in 1988. He now works for Roland Australia.

Kirin started out as a member of Sydney band Mercy Arms. He has released two solo albums ‘Embracism’ (2013) and ‘Bravado’ (2017). In 2017 director Jane Campion cast him in her TV series Top Of The Lake. Kirin has also collaborated with Jimmy Barnes as well as Tim and Neil Finn.

His song ‘Big Enough’ with Jimmy was a popular meme in 2017.
