Kram talks all things Easybeats, Glenn Hughes tells the stories of Deep Purple Mk II this week at iHeartRadio music news powered by Noise11.com.

With the upcoming EasyFever shows in December paying tribute to Stevie Wright and The Easybeats, Kram of Spiderbait talks about the influence Alberts and The Easybeats had on the early Spiderbait albums.

Kram, Chris Cheney, Phil Jamieson, Tex Perkins and Tim Rogers are the EasyFever supergroup gathering to perform the icon Aus rock songs of Vanda and Young’s first band.

Glenn Hughes was the architect before the reinvention of Deep Purple after the departure of Ian Gillian and then Ritchie Blackmore. Deep Purple fans often debate the legacy of the two Purples. Mk II’s ‘Burn’ and ‘Stormbringer’ are often cited as two of the greatest moments in 70s rock.

Hughes will perform Classic Deep Purple Live in Australia and New Zealand in September. It will be the first time in 41 years he has performed an entire show of Deep Purple songs. Find the dates here
