The year of new albums is starting to kick in, specifically with heaps of Australian country music.

Local country singer Amber Lawrence’s third album 3 comes out today, as does Corey Colum’s self-titled debut album. Morgan Evans releases his album Live Each Day, Harmony James has Handfuls Of Sky and the McClymonts fourth album How Long Have You Known.

There’s also a solo debut from Sharon Corr (of The Corrs) titled Dream Of You and US country artist and former American Idol Kellie Pickler’s third record 100 Proof.

Anti-folk goddess Ani DiFranco has her 17th studio album Which Side Are You On? and local guitar gals Blanche Dubois have album number three Young Heart.

Metallers Lamb Of God deliver their new album Resolution, screamo band Attack Attack have This Means War and Anthony Green of Circa Survive goes solo with Beautiful Things.

Hip-hop’s righteous uncle Common has his new album The Dreamer/The Believer.

Latin guitar cover duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela drop Area 52, and Australian guitar wizard Joe Robinson delivers Let Me Introduce You

Hipster Brooklyn electro-pop duo Chairlift have their second album Something and UK rock duo Big Deal deliver their debut Lights Out.

Impossibly chill French pop act Francois And The Atlas Mountains release E Volo Love and South London beat alchemists Sound Of Rum drop their debut Balance.

The Olivia Newton-John-led soundtrack for A Few Best Men hits stores.

Also, there’s a compilation of classic fishing songs, titled Gone Fishin’, and a full complement of Roxette reissues. Yup.
