Mariah Carey is expanding her acting resume after signing on to appear in an upcoming episode of Empire. The diva will portray Kitty, “a mega-superstar”, who collaborates with Jussie Smollett’s character Jamal Lyon on a new song recorded for the show. The episode, which will air on October 5, has been a long time coming.
