Marina Prior will tour Australia in August as part of her The Songbird Tour 2014.
The Songbird Tour will coincide with limited edition 3CD ‘Songbird’ box set due soon through Fanfare Records. The title track ‘Songbird’ is a new recording of the Fleetwood Mac classic, written by Christine McVie.
The ‘Songbird’ box bundles Marina’s three albums ‘Encore’, ‘Marina Prior Live’ and ‘Both Sides Now’. ‘Encore’ is a collection of Marina’s theatre hits and ‘Both Sides Now’ features songs that influenced her by Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Leon Russell, Stephen Stills, The Carpenters, Lennon and McCartney, George Harrison, Maria Muldaur, Billy Fields, The Seekers, Don Mclean, Freddy Mercury, Wendy Matthews and ABBA.
