Missy Higgins looong awaited third album kicks off a very diverse week in new releases.

Missy Higgins is certain to make a big dent in next week’s chart with her triumphant return The Ol’ Razzle Dazzle. Folkie crew Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros also return with their second album Here. And speaking of long-awaited returns, disco prince Sam Sparro has his second album Return To Paradise out this week.

The new Neil Young & Crazy Horse album Americana hits stores today. Paloma Faith’s Fall To Grace comes out today and fellow Brits Citizens put out their debut Here We Are (produced by Alex from Franz Ferdinand).

Popera Pom Russell Watkins celebrates the jubilee and the Olympics with Anthems – Music To Inspire A Nation.

Aussie funk soul collective The Bamboos release their star-studded album Medicine Man. Swedish pop-punk heroes Millencolin deliver their collection of twelve rareties and two new songs The Melancholy Collection.

Brooklyn indie rock freaks Liars deliver WIXIW and there’s the new project from Kody of The Mint Chicks – Opossum – with a psych garage rock album titled Electric Hawaii.

Respected hip-hopper El-P has his new album Cancer For Cure (look out for the filthy clip for the single ‘Full Retard’).

Singer-songwriter, YouTube star, and Shortbus actor Jay Brannan offers his album Rob Me Blind.

San Fran electro producer Justin Martin has Ghettos & Gardens.

There are some re-releases from At The Drive-In, notably Relationship Of Command and Acrobatic Tenement, Lenny Kravitz’s Mama Said, a few Sex Pistols and My Bloody Valentine albums,  and a 40th anniversary remaster of the David Bowie’s  The Rise & Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars.
