Graham Nash Adds Extra US Dates

Graham Nash opened his 2016 solo tour on Wednesday night in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL with a mix of songs from his storied past and material from his upcoming album This Path Tonight.

The new album, in stores on April 15, is his first since 2002’s Songs For Survivors and will be available on CD, digital and vinyl via Nash’s own Blue Castle Records.

For the tour, Nash is bringing along guitarist Shane Fontayne who also produced the new album. Graham said of the no-band approach “When you strip a song down to its very essence, you either have a song worth singing… or you don’t. Playing music with Shane Fontayne is and always will be very satisfying. He has an innate sense of ‘performance’ and of arrangement. He never loses sight of the fact that the song must ‘come alive’, must have a reason for being sung in the first place. We want to look in the eyes of our audience, we want to know that we are connecting on a very real level. What a pleasure this tour will be for me.”

Nash had already set nineteen dates for the tour but, on Friday, added fifteen more which will take him through May 14 at New York’s Town Hall. He then takes the tour to Europe.
