Pearl Jam Joined By Win Butler For Final Big Day Out Song In Perth

Arcade Fire’s Win Butler joined Pearl Jam for the final song of the final Big Day Out for Perth.

Butler joined Eddie Vedder for Pearl Jam’s cover of Neil Young’s Rockin’ In The Free World’.

Arcade Fire and Pearl Jam were the headline acts for the struggling Big Day Out which has already confirmed will not be returning to Perth in 2015. A report in the Melbourne Age also suggested that Big Day Out may not return at all.

If February 2, 2014 goes down in history as the final Big Day Out ever then Young’s ‘Rockin’ In The Free Young’ by Pearl Jam and Win Butler made a mighty fine end credits theme.
