Willow Sage Hart, the daughter of Pink, will be heard singing on record for the first time on ‘The Greatest Showman Reimagined’.

Willow makes a small but important vocal debut on the track ‘A Million Dreams (reprise)’. Her mother Pink will sing the full version. (Willow made her recording debut on her mother Pink’s 2012 album ‘The Truth About Love’ playing bells).

‘The Greatest Showman Reimagined’ follows in the steps of The Hamilton Remix and The Nightmare Before Christmas where popular artists remake the original cast soundtrack.

The new version of ‘The Greatest Showman’ will feature Panic! At the Disco, Kelly Clarkson, Kesha and Zac Brown Band.

Kevin Weaver of Atlantic Records told Variety, “Last January or February, when we were doing 100,000 albums a week in the U.S. and it was number one in most of the territories of the world, I had a light bulb moment. We really realized we had something at the scale of what this was becoming, and we were quickly like, all right, do we want to do a deluxe version of the album for Mother’s Day? What would that look like? Do we want to take the original cast album and add a couple covers to it, or add some additional demos? But it felt like it warranted something much more significant and robust. Then you had people like Pink and Selena Gomez and other artists who were on social media posting themselves dancing to and singing the songs. And that was part of kind of what went into my epiphany that we have something that’s not only connecting with the masses, but it’s connecting with artists.”

The original soundtrack for The Greatest Showman was 2018’s first million-selling album. It sent 30 consecutive weeks in the US Top 10. Only seven albums in history have done that. They are ‘Dirty Dancing’ (48 weeks), ‘The Bodyguard’ (42 weeks), ‘Frozen’ (41 weeks), ‘Purple Rain’ (37 weeks), ‘Saturday Night Fever’ (35 weeks) and ‘The Lion King’ (31 weeks).
