R.E.M. appeared twice on MTV’s iconic ‘Unplugged’ program, once in 1991 and again in 2001. Those sessions have finally been released at ‘R.E.M. Unplugged 1991/2001 The Complete Sessions’.

For the very first time every song from the two sessions are available as one album. That includes 11 songs not aired in either broadcast.

The 1991 R.E.M. MTV appearance coincided with the release of their ‘Out Of Time’ album featuring ‘Losing My Religion’.

The album was originally a limited edition vinyl release for Record Store Day and is now available on CD.
