Rage Against The Machine have confirmed that they will reform in 2020 for Coachella.

Rage Against The Machine last performed at L.A. Rising in 2011. The wheels first feel off Rage Against The Machine in 2000. Lead singer Zac de la Rocha was first leave announcing “our decision-making process has completely failed”.

Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk considered finding a new singer and continuing but instead created a new name Audioslave after they popped Chris Cornell into the driver’s seat.

Rage Against The Machine reactivated in 2010 for a London show after an online campaign sent ‘Killing In The Name’ to number one in England over Christmas 2009. That expanded to festival gigs and in July the band performed their first show in the USA in 10 years.

Rage Against The Machine released three original albums and one covers record.

Rage Against The Machine (1992)
Evil Empire (1996)
The Battle of Los Angeles (1999)
Renegades (2000)

So far five dates for 2020 have been announced:

26 March, El Paso, TX
28 March, Las Cruces, NM
30 March, Phoenix, AZ
10 and 17 April, Indio, CA for Coachella
