Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones has teamed with Nick Mason of Pink Floyd for the song ‘Listen Into Your Heart’ to raise funds for Nepal earthquake victims.

The lead vocal for the song is soul singer Beverly Knight with Mick and Ronnie on backing vocals. The song was produced by Matt Clifford, produced by Nick Mason and recorded at Abbey Road Studios.

In a statement Beverly Knight said, “The terrible events in Nepal show just how vulnerable our fellow man can be in the face of nature. My hope is that the proceeds of this song will go some way to help raise urgently needed funds to repair homes and restore lives.”

Proceeds from ‘Listen Into Your Heart’ will go to Save The Children’s Nepal Earthquake Appeal.

The Rolling Stones website has appealed to fans to buy the song. “Save the Children is scaling up its response to meet the urgent needs of children in Nepal, many of whom are injured, without shelter and basic items. A UK government-funded emergency medical team, managed Save the Children, is assessing needs and supporting local medical staff by providing surgery to those who need it most and our teams are delivering immediate life-saving help such as shelter kits and clean water”.
