Simon Cowell has congratulated Zayn Malik on signing with RCA Records. The 55-year-old music mogul previously managed the singer under his Syco label when he was part of One Direction. But after the 22-year-old left the mega-group earlier this year, it was rumoured that he would not remain on the books as a solo artist.
