Steve Poltz Scores Running Wild Soundtrack

Singer songwriter Steve Poltz has written and recorded the score for the ‘Running Wild’ soundtrack.

The Canadian born, San Diego based songwriter has been a regular visitor to Australia even since his first tour down under with Jewel. Poltz wrote her biggest hit ‘You Were Meant For Me’.

‘Running Wild’ is the story of Dayton O. Hyde, the cowboy, conservationist and writer. Because of Hyde’s work, 500 mustangs now run free on the 12000a acre Black Hills Wild Horse sanctuary.

The Suzanne Mitchell directed documentary has already won the Audience Award for Best Documentary at the Sarasota Film Festival.

‘Running Wild’ is the first soundtrack Poltz has done. His songs appear regularly in movies and on TV shows but this was the first time he composed specifically for a movie.

‘Running Wild’ will open is cinemas across America on October 4.
