It’s a nice week for Aussie artists and heritage rockers (and movie music) this week in new releases.

Prinnie + Mahalia - Come Together

The Voice’s Prinnie & Mahalia deliver their long-awaited gospel, soul and R&B cover album Come Together and Brit X Factor teen popper Cher Lloyd finally releases Sticks And Stones in Australia.

There are some other nice local releases: psych rock heroes Tame Impala release their loooong-awaited second album Lonerism, indie pop masters Ball Park Music have their hooky second album Museum, and Birds Of Tokyo release their ‘This Fire’ EP.

KISS’s 20th album Monster is out now and Heart return with a new album titled Fanatic and Tori Amos delivers her thirteenth album Gold Dust, featuring orchestral reworkings of her tunes.

Folky sensation Newton Faulkner has his new album Write It On Your Skin and The Wallflowers (remember them?) are back with Glad All Over.

Matt Tuck from Bullet For My Valentine and Liam Cormier of Cancer Bats team up as AxeWound with debut album Vultures.

Irish crooner Daniel O’Donnell offers up Songs From The Movies And More and America’s Got Talent tween Jackie Evancho has Songs From The Silver Screen.

Irish political folk troubadour Damien Dempsey has his Almighty Love album with a guest spot from Sinead O’Connor.

Gary Moore and his band deliver the live tribute to Jimi Hendrix Blues For Jimi, there’s a Live In New York DVD from Paul Simon plus Beyonce’s Destined For Stardom DVD and the Story Of Adele DVD.

There are also soundtracks from To Rome With Love, Intouchables and Frankenweenie.
