The Dead Daises will call their second album ‘Revolución’ in honour of the band’s recent trip to Cuba.

The Dead Daisies recently became the first western band to perform in Cuba after President Obama recently reopened trade between Cuba and the United States of America.

The Daisies musical collective visited Cuba with the line-up featuring Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses, The Psychedelic Furs), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, RATT), Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses, Hookers & Blow), David Lowy (MINK, Red Phoenix) and Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol) with Rolling Stones bass player Daryl Jones and backing singer Bernard Edwards joining in performances with Cuban musicians.

The band has returned to Sydney minus Tichy and started work on the ‘Revolución’ album with Jackie Barnes on drums. Jackie also plays in his father Jimmy Barnes’ band and had been recently touring with Reece Mastin.

The ‘Revolución’ album will be released in June. The Dead Daisies will tour Europe with Kiss in June and then Australia with Kiss in October.
