The Dead Daisies will gather in a Los Angeles studio next week to put down some new songs they have written on tour.

In a Facebook post the band stated, “After the Irvine show, we got together and wrote some new songs, which we’ll be looking to record in LA next week. It was great to get the opportunity to record together in NYC, so we’re really looking forward to hitting it again in LA with the new songs we wrote on the back of the tour bus”.

The Dead Daisies are the Australian supergroup featuring Jon Stevens and David Lowy with Richard Fortus and Dizzy Reed (Guns N Roses), Brian Tichy (Whitesnake) and Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy).

The band is currently touring the USA with Alice In Chains and Jane’s Addiction on the Uproar Festival which finished today in Chula Vista, California.

They will tour the UK with Black Star Riders in November.

The Dead Daisies self-titled debut is out now through Spitfire.
