Wyman joined The Rolling Stones in December 1963, after the departure of original bass player Dick Taylor who left to form The Pretty Things. (The Pretty Things will perform their first ever shows in Australia next month).

Bill left The Rolling Stones after the 1989-1990 Steel Wheels tour. After much speculation, his departure was officially confirmed in December 1992.

Mick Taylor was the replacement guitarist for Brian Jones, who died in 1969. Mick played on ‘Honky Tonk Woman’, ‘Country Honk’ and ‘Live With Me’. His first complete album with the Rolling Stones was ‘Sticky Fingers’ in 1971.

Mick Taylor’s last album with The Stones was ‘Its Only Rock And Roll But I Like It’.

In a statement, The Rolling Stones have confirmed that, “Stones fans will be delighted to hear that Stones legends Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor are confirmed as special guests for these London shows. This will be the first time they have performed with the band for over 20 years.”

The Rolling Stones will perform Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor this Sunday November 25 at the O2 London. The second London Stones show will take place on November 29.

The Rolling Stones will also play three US shows on December 8 (Brooklyn) and December 13 and 15 (Newark).
