The Rolling Stones have played the first of their ’50 and Counting’ tour New York Shows. Tonight (December 8) they played Brooklyn.

“We took the subway here,” Mick Jagger joked at the start of the show. “We sat next to someone called Jay Zed”.

Guests for tonight’s show were Gary Clark Jr on ‘Going Down’ and Mary J Blige for ‘Gimme Shelter’ but there was no sign of earlier Stones members Bill Wyman or Mick Taylor tonight. Both played last week at the London shows.

There were no surprises. The setlist was exactly the same as the first London show but with the first two song reversed.
