R&B’s Toni Braxton has been selected to receive BMI’s President’s Award at this year’s R&B/Hip-Hop Awards, to be held on Thursday, September 1 at the Woodruff Art Center’s Symphony Hall in Atlanta, GA. The President’s Award will be given in “recognition of her distinguished career and substantial influence on popular music over last 25 years.”
