Over 1.3 million votes were cast, so it goes without saying that many many songs missed out on the top 100. So in the spirit of more disclosure, Triple J have released a list of the next 100 songs.

Many artists who scored in the Hottest 100 had extra songs in the second chunk (Nero, The Wombats, Boy & Bear, San Cisco, Gotye, The Jezabels et al). There were also three Triple J cover versions in the list: Plan B performing Kanye, Busby Marou performing Cyndi Lauper, and Andy Bull performing Tears For Fears.

Nero and Justice had the most songs in the second half, with three each. Nero was in the top list but Justice couldn’t crack the Hottest 100.

And it was bad luck for The Middle East, whose ‘Land Of The Bloody Unknown’ just missed out, coming in at number 101.

Check out the full list below, as well as our recent Nero interview.
