Turns Out Melissa Etheridge And Todd Rundgren Were Both Busted This Year

in News

TMZ is usually the source that breaks news almost as it is happening. This time Melissa Etheridge and Todd Rundgren are the bad guys.

That’s not the case with a story they published today on Melissa Etheridge and Todd Rundgren.

It seems that, back on August 17, Etheridge was coming back into the country from touring in Canada when U.S. Customs and Border Patrol had their K-9 unit do a sniff test around her tour bus. The dog alerted and officials found marijuana oil.

According to the officers, Etheridge told them she uses it for pain associated with her cancer but that didn’t cut it as, while it is legal in California, it is not in North Dakota.

Then, on September 9, customs found Rundgren had two vaporizers and liquid THC when his bus was crossing the border.

No word on where the cases currently stand.

The Damned released the first ever UK punk single, “New Rose” off album Damned, Damned, Damned, in 1976, and were often overshadowed by their English punk counterparts. Now in their late sixties and still touring world-wide, featuring the original line up of Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies and Paul Gray, they are the ones having the last laugh and have left their old rivals for dead, in certain respects, quite literally!
