Normie Rowe, Colleen Hewett and Johnny Young are three music legends.

Collectively they have had dozens of hits in their own names dating back to the mid 60s and Johnny Young also has generated a mass of hits for other artists including Russell Morris ‘The Real Thing’, Ronnie Burns ‘Smiley’ and Ross D. Wylie’s ‘Here Comes The Star’.

In the 60s Normie Rowie was Australia’s biggest pop star until he was conscripted into the Australian army. Years later it was discovered he was setup by the government who wanted the high profile popstar as the face of the Army.

Colleen Hewett rose to fame with her cover of Leon Russell’s ‘Superstar’ and for more than a decade was constantly on the Australian charts with songs like ‘Dreaming My Dreams’, ‘Day By Day’ and ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’.

For the first time Normie Rowie, Colleen Hewett and Johnny Young teamed up for live shows initially in Melbourne. The show will later tour around Australia.

Normie Rowie, Colleen Hewett and Johnny Young spoke with Noise11’s Paul Cashmere.
