David Kirkpatrick comes from Australian music royalty. His father and mother are Slim Dusty and Joy McKean and his sister Anne Kirkpatrick.

Dr David Kirkpatrick’s career took a different path to his parents and sister until he retired from medicine just before the pandemic hit. Retirement gave David just the time he needed to get the band back together.

He called upon his brother-in-law Greg Richardson and old school friend Glenn Willey, Ian Rhodes, and Graham Puglisi and Two Tone Pony was born.

The first song ‘A Life Well Lived’ was released in March 2023. There’s more to come as well as an album.

David spoke with Noise11.com’s Paul Cashmere.
