Nick Milwright and Damian Cazaly formed Blackchords in Melbourne in 2005.
The debut album was released in 2009 and established the band in Australia and the UK and earned Blackchords accolades from the music media.
Promo for the album took them to London and Paris and was followed-up with a second trip to the UK in 2010 including an appearance at the Great Escape Festival.
Blackchords turned to crowd-funding site Pozible for their second record and fans funded half the costs of the recording of the album ‘A Thin Line’. That lead the band to a record contract with ABC Records.
