Dates for Big Day Out were revealed today after a giant billboard was put up on Punt Rd, Melbourne under Richmond railway station today.
Noise11 can reveal the published dates include Auckland, New Zealand and two confirmed dates for Sydney.
The placement of the billboard in Melbourne has accelerated the official announcement for 2014 Big Day Out dates which was to occur next Monday (July 15).
Big Day Out 2014 dates are:
January 17, Auckland, Western Springs
January 19, Gold Coast, Metricon Stadium
January 24, Melbourne, TBC
January 26 and 27, Sydney, TBC
January 31, Perth, TBC
February 2, Adelaide, TBC
Red Hot Chili Peppers headlined Big Day Out 2013. The strongest rumour for 2014 has Pearl Jam at the top of the rumour list. Pearl Jam announced their North American dates this week. However, they have no confirmed dates anywhere at this stage covering the Big Day Out dates for 2014.
