Geoff Tate is officially back with the first release from his new band, Operation: Mindcrime.

Released from Queensryche in mid-2012, Tate went on to form his own version of the band which led to battling releases under the same band name. A settlement was finally reached last year that would allow the original version of the band to move forward under the name while Tate was able to do a final tour before having to rename his band.

Operation: Mindcrime, named after a 1988 album by Queensryche, will release their second album and first under the new name on September 18. The Key is the first of a planned trilogy of albums.

From that album, here is Re-Inventing the Future.
