Eagles founder Glenn Frey is heading to Australia in October and Noise11 hears that while he is here he will be announcing a solo tour.
Glenn was last in Australia in 2010 for Eagles ‘Long Road Out Of Eden’ tour. On this trip he will be talking about his new solo album ‘After Hours’ and announce dates for his solo Australian tour of 2013.
He is also expected to give some news on the next project for Eagles, a 2DVD documentary about the history of the band.
In his interview with Marco Gandolfi at Music-News.com Glenn also mentioned that Eagles next recorded effort may be four or six songs of covers such as a Buffalo Springfield.
On ‘After Hours’ Glenn pays tribute to many of the great artists like Nat King Cole, Dinah Washington and Tony Bennet as well as more contemporary acts like the Beach Boys and Randy Newman.
