Jimmy Barnes has done a deal with the devil in the upcoming TV series Lucifer.

WTF?

No, not OUR Jimmy Barnes, Australia. In the upcoming FOX TV series ‘Lucifer’ one of the characters is a record producer named Jimmy Barnes.

Lucifer’s Barnes is played by John Pankow who is the brother of long-time Chicago member James Pankow. John Pankow plaus whacky TV executive Merc Lapidus in the sitcom ‘Episodes’ and years ago played Ira Buchman in the comedy ‘Mad About You’.

‘Lucifer’ is based in the comic book character in ‘The Sandman’ by Neil Gaiman. It is about Lucifer, the devil, who becomes bored with hell and moves to Los Angeles for some fun and ends up helping the LAPD punish criminals (seriously, that is the plot).

‘Lucifer’ is played by English actor Tom Ellis, who was last seen as the boyfriend of Miranda on the UK comedy ‘Miranda’.

‘Lucifer’ was scheduled to debut in the 2016 television season but the pilot of the show leaked online this week.
