John Mayer ‘Paradise Valley’ has held a steady lead all week on Australia’s iTunes chart and coupled with instore reaction for physical disc sales will easily come in ahead of Avenged Sevenfold ‘Hail To The King’ this week.

Mayer has lead digital sales all week, and while some chains report Avenged Sevenhold could be ahead in possibly South Australia and Western Australia the overall national physical sales figure for ‘Paradise Valley’ is expected to keep John Mayer on top of this week’s chart.

Debuts for Ellie Goulding ‘Halycon Days’, DevilDriver ‘Winter Kills’ and Franz Ferdinand ‘Right Thoughts Right Words Right Action’ are all expected to land outside the Top 10.

Katy Perry ‘Roar’ will maintain the number one singles spot this week with Jason Derulo feat. 2 Chainz ‘Talk Dirty’ at number two, according to the week’s iTunes positions and you can expect Lorde’s ‘The Love Club EP’, Lana Del Rey ‘Summertime Madness’, Avicii’s ‘Wake Me Up’ high in the Top 10.

With Eminem ‘Berserk’ the only major release in the past week but only with three days sales, expect the Top 10 to be relatively unchanged and Eminem ‘Berzerk’ to fall outside the Top 10.

The ARIA Chart will update with the new figures at 7pm tonight (Saturday).
