Metallica’s Kirk Hammett will host his second annual Kirk Von Hammett Fear FestEvil in San Jose in April.
Hammett will host a Murder Mystery dinner party at San Jose’s Winchester Mystery House on Friday, April 10 followed by the two-day Fear FestEvil at RockBar Theater on April 11 and 12.
“It has always been my intention that Fear FestEvil events carry both the weird and the loud,” says Kirk Hammett, “and what better way to achieve another extension of what we want to do than eat dinner in a haunted house while solving criminal acts before a weekend of super kick-ass music?!”
The line-up so far for Hammett’s FestEvil includes Meshuggah, High On Fire, Orchid, Blues Pills, Agnostic Front, and Asada Messiah.
The Metallica lead guitarist is one of the world’s most avid collectors of horror memorabilia.
In 2012 Kirk Hammett published his first book, Too Much Horror Business – The Kirk Hammett Collection, via Abrams Image. The 228 page, hardback, large format coffee table book featured over 300 full color images from Kirk’s private collection.
