‘Red Dirt Red Heart’, the third part of the Russell Morris blues trilogy, has spent seven of the last nine weeks at the top of ARIA Blues and Jazz Chart and ends the year as Australia’s no 1 blues album of 2015.

Red Dirt Red Heart’ continues the musical stories from Australia’s past with this chapter of the trilogy focused around the indigenous people and central Australia.

Following on from the Platinum selling ARIA Award wining ‘Sharkmouth’ and its sequel ‘Van Diemen’s Land’, ‘Red Dirt Red Heart’ was once again made with producer Mitch Cairns, guitarist Shannon Bourne and John Creech on drums.
