Nick Cave will deliver a keynote address at the Bigsound music industry conference in Brisbane in September.
Cave will speak via satellite for the speech with Rockwiz star Julia Zemiro moderating the event.
Cave will address the industry for Bigsound’s new Music + Design. The Music + Design program is a first for Bigsound this year. The design event is planned to explore the relationship between music and all aspects of design including interactive, graphic design, digital, industrial design, architecture, production, fashion, and film.
Bigsound is heading into its 12th year. Music + Design will run on September 10 and 11 followed by the Bigsound music conference on September 11 and 12.
The Bigsound music conference will feature UK’s pioneering agitator Billy Bragg, US crowd-funding poster-child Amanda Palmer and Australia’s queen of country Kasey Chambers along with Xavier Rudd, Megan Washington, The John Steel Singers, Stonefield, and Bleeding Knees Club.
